STORI BROOKS
Atlanta-based Vocalist/Producer/Instrumentalist Stori Brooks uses vivid wordplay and lush harmonies to create a full, layered music experience that has placed her into the "Alternative Hip-Hop" category. Claiming South Carolina as home base, she cites Stevie Wonder, M.I.A, her mother, Nina Simone and nature (as in the trees and ocean) as just a few of her musical influences. Although hard to place in a box, each of Stori's works of art are held together by one distinguishable chord-- It is always alive.
